1. Add “The Soviet Union would not be able to interfere if, like the Korean War Armistice,  China, the U.S., and North and South Korea join in talks” after “……it will be difficult for us to come together with North Korea unless such an environment can be created.”

2. Add “(Here, General Secretary Hu comments that, while he fully recognizes the Prime Minister’s opinion, he believes that Japan overestimates China’s influence over North Korea.)” after “…… China holds the key for the state of the Korean Peninsula.”
