All your pieces of information with regard to Mao Zedong, as well as on the situation on the fronts have been received. 1) In view of the forthcoming operations and in view that Mao Zedong's absence might have an adverse affect on the transactions, we consider it appropriate to postpone Mao Zedong's trip temporarily.

Stalin, using the name of Chief of the GRU, Fyodor Kuznetsov, tells Terebin, actually Soviet operative in Yan'an Andrei Orlov, to delay Mao's secret visit to Moscow.
