Cable, Stalin to Mao Zedong [via Terebin]

To Terebin
Convey to Mao Zedong the following:

“[I] received your letter dated 28 September 1948.

The VKP(b) CC is informed about this letter. The leading comrades will be happy to meet with you in Moscow at the end of November, as it was agreed upon. Then it will be possible to exchange opinions on all questions.

Stalin tells Mao, through Terebin (Andrei Orlov), that he, Stalin, received Mao's letter and that the Soviet leaders would answer Mao's questions upon his arrival in Moscow.
