74 - Concerning Xinjiang.
1. Continue the work of the NKTP Special Purpose Geological Expedition in Xinjiang in 1936 exclusively in prospecting for tin, tungsten, and molybdenum.
2. Allocate 75,000 rubles in gold and 2,000,000 rubles in Soviet currency to the Expedition from the SNK reserve fund for prospecting work.
3. Set the numerical strength of the Expedition workers being sent from the Soviet Union to Xinjiang at 20. Complete the formalities for foreign work within 10 days.
4. Chief of the Expedition Cde. D. Ye. Perkin is held responsible for organizing the work of the Expedition such that the creation of a commotion around the expedition work and the movement of specialists associated with this is to be avoided in every possible way.
5. The Expedition's prospecting work is to be concluded in 1936.
