Excerpt from protocol # 166 par. 31 GS of the Secretariat CC
About the participation in preparation and holding of the international conference on solidarity with the struggle of the people of Nicaragua.
I. Allow the Soviet Committee of peace-defense send to Venezuela in July of this year for a period of seven days for participation in the International conference on solidarity with the struggle of the people of Nicaragua a delegation of representatives of soviet public including C.C. Dudin M.A., chairman of Leningrad regional committee on peace defense (the leader of the delegation), Kurin K.N., referent of the International department CC CPSU, Ignat'yev O.K., reporter of tlie newspaper "Pravda", and Pily E.G., responsible secretary of the Soviet committee 011 solidarity with Chilean democrats.
2. Give a task to Ministry of passenger aviation to transport according to requests of the Soviet committee on peace defense with the planes of Aeroflot from the countries of Asia and Africa to Moscow city and back to their homeland up to 30 foreign participants of the conference, and also form the city of Moscow to the city of Caracas and back - up to 60 foreign participants, covering the cost of airplane tickets in soviet rubles.
3. Expenses for sending Soviet representatives refer to the account of the Soviet committee 011 peace defense, the expenses for providing of transportation and transit stay in the city of Moscow for foreign representatives refer to the account of Soviet peace fund.
4. TASS, APN, State-teleradio USSR, publishers of the central newspapers, magazine "Novoe Vrernya" and of tlie newspaper "Moscow News" in foreign languages should provide full coverage of work and the results of the conference.

About participation in preparation and holding of an International conference on solidarity with the struggle of the people of Nicaragua.
From 13 to 15 of July of this year in the city of Caracas (Venezuela) according to the initiative of the World Peace Council will be held International conference of solidarity with the struggle of the people of Nicaragua, in which will participate more then 200 representatives of national movements for peace of different continents, a number of international organizations, among those a representative delegation of patriotic organizations of Nicaragua. Support of this initiative from the side of broad circles of democratic public of Latin America, and also from the ruling party of Venezuela gives hope to formation of this conference into a large-scale public-political event, working of consolidation of Anti-imperialistic forces of the continent.
Soviet committee on peace defense brings in a suggestion to send for participation in the conference for a period of seven days a delegation of representatives of soviet public, including C.C. Dudin M.A. - Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of RSFSR, a poet, a chairman of Leningrad regional committee on peace defense (the leader of the delegation), Kurin K.N. - referent of the International department of CC CPSU, Ignat'yev O.K. - reporter of the newspaper "Pravda", Pail E.G.- responsible secretary of the Soviet committee on solidarity with Chilean democrats.
Simultaneously the committee is asking to allow to satisfy the request of the leadership of [VCM] about partial participation in organizational and material provisions for the conference, having sent with this connection a group of synchronized interpreters in amount of 9 people and having provided transportation by airplane of Aeroflot up to 30 foreign participants from certain countries to Moscow and back to their homeland, and also up to 60 foreign participants from the city of Moscow to Caracas and back with paid for in soviet rubles.
Expenses for sending soviet representatives will be covered from the account of Soviet committee on peace defense, expenses for transportation and transit stay in the city of Moscow of the foreign participants will be covered by the Soviet peace fund (with Nikonov it 's agreed).
International department of CC CPSU supports given suggestions.
