Concerning a list of information about the Chernobyl' AEhS

subject to classification and not subject to open publication

Approve the list of information prepared by the USSR Ministry of Medium Machinebuilding together with the USSR Ministries of Defense and Health, the USSR State Agroindustrial Committee, the USSR Academy of Sciences, and other interested ministries and departments, and coordinated with the USSR KGB, the General Staff of the USSR Armed Forces, and USSR Glavlit concerning questions of the accident at the Chernobyl' AEhS and the elimination of its consequences subject to classification (attachment Nº 1) and not subject to publication in the open press, or radio or television broadcast (list Nº 2).

LIST OF INFORMATION

 

concerning questions of the accident at the Chernobyl' AEhS and the elimination of its consequences not subject to publication in the open press, or radio or television broadcast

 

1. Information about the level of radioactive contamination by individual population center exceeding the maximum permissible level (PDU)

 

2. Information about the results of individual measurements of the levels of radiation, the isotope composition of individual samples of soil, water, precipitation, air, agricultural output, food products, and flora and fauna exceeding the maximum permissible level (PDU) and the maximum permissible concentration (PDK)

 

3. Information about the results of an assessment of the economic damage from the radioactive contamination by individual farms.

 

4. Information about the expenditures for the introduction of new agrotechnical, agrochemical, and veterinary measures, and also of the technologies of reprocessing individual kinds of raw material ensuring a reduction of the conversion of radionuclides into a final product.

 

5. Information about the concentration of radionuclides in agricultural output in the exclusion zone and beyond its boundaries exceeding the PDK, with links to geographical points.

 

6. Information about cases of damage to farm and wild animals as a result of the effect of radioactive contamination on them.

 

7. Information about the actual damage to forests as a result of radioactive contamination.

 

8. Information about anti-radiation measures and the prevention of internal exposure of the population being conducted in previously undisclosed rayons.
