21 December 1960

I was at a dinner at the Mongolian Ambassador's Tsehvehlmaagiyn Dash together with Embassy counsellors. I informed the Ambassador about the signing in Moscow of the Agreement for Soviet Economic and Technical Aid to the Mongolian People's Republic in the development of the economy and a Long-term Trade Agreement. I also told about recent events in the Congo and Laos.

The dinner was held in a warm, comradely atmosphere. The film "Konya By Mne [I'd Love a Horse]" was shown.
