I visited Pak Seong-cheol [Pak Song Chol] and informed him of the opinion expressed in Moscow about the draft statement regarding the introduction into South Korea of American atomic and missile weaponry (see the record of the 1 March conversation).

Pak Seong-cheol expressed gratitude for the report I made and said that the ideas expressed in Moscow will be reported to the DPRK government.

Pak Seong-cheol did not state any questions about the information I gave or his attitude toward its content.

The report was translated by Embassy interpreter D. A. Priyemsky.
