I report: In accordance with your instructions, the ship “Indigirka” of special importance was sent to voyage at 1500 on 15 August 1962.
For self-defense from the ships and aircraft of pirates [SIC] two automatic 37-mm anti-aircraft guns with 1200 rounds for each have been installed on the ship
It is ordered to open fire only during an obvious attempt to seize the ship or sink it, by decision of the captain of the ship with a simultaneous report to Moscow.
