The Embassy of the DPRK to the GDR conveys its great respect to the Main Department for Consular Affairs in the GDR Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is honored to humbly submit the following message.
Following the termination of exit stamps in passports of Korean citizens crossing the state border between the GDR and West Berlin, the DPRK Embassy to the GDR intends to issue permission certificates for crossing the state border between the GDR and West Berlin to all Korean citizens including the bearers of diplomatic passports (including all staff of the embassy).
In this context the DPRK Embassy to the GDR requests to grant exit from the GDR to West Berlin only to those DPRK citizens (including embassy staff) who possess a permission certificate issued by the DPRK Embassy to the GDR and the respective passport.
The DPRK Embassy to the GDR thanks for your support in advance.
