To: Minister Duk Shin Choi
From: The President
I wish to thank you for your very good report No. 008 dated July 6th.
I have noticed from your letter that Secretary Tho is interested in exchanging firsthand information on our products particularly insam. As you know we still have a large quantity of hongsam besides insam and I will ask our respective Government agencies to write to you directly about the price, etc.
I am very glad you explained our stand against Japan to Secretary Tho. Some of the Asiatic nations have completely forgotten what they had suffered under the Japs and it is wise to remind them constantly that the Jape have not given up their aggressive policy.
Thank you also for the photographs and newspaper clippings.
In response to Minister Choi's previous report, President Rhee agrees to discussion on possible Vietnam-Korea trade for insam.
