Combat Instruction Nº 17 for Radioelectronic Warfare of the Maritime Front

As a result of the effect of a nuclear weapon and conventional means of attack enemy fixed communication centers and landline communications have been disrupted to a considerable degree.

Communications in first echelon corps are being conducted only via radio and radio relay channels. In divisions the main means of communications, radio relay, are being used in a limited manner.

The operation of the communications equipment of the "Browns" and the "Orange" has been detected in the Army's zone.

The CP of the 1^st AK of the "Browns" in the Army's zone of advance is being destroyed.

The forces of the front RehB units are suppressing the HF radio communications between the SGA and the 1^st AK of the "Browns" and the 1^st AK of the "Orange".

The Commanding General of the front has ordered:

1. Suppress the communications of the 1^st mpd of the "Orange", the 5^th mpd of the "Orange", and then the enemy's tactical level in the main direction of the Army's thrust;

2. During the forcing of the RHINE suppress enemy radio relay communications according to the 3^rd Army's radio electronic suppression plan.

Coordinate the use of Army forces in the sector of the 3^rd Army's advance with the 3^rd Army.
