Note to the Polish Embassy in China on Protecting China’s Rights and Interests if India Severs Diplomatic Relations with China

To the Embassy of Poland in China:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China gives its regards to Poland’s Embassy in China and hereby states the following:

In order to achieve its anti-China goal, the Indian government stirred up the Sino-Indian boundary issue and unscrupulously used such disputes to worsen the relations between China and India. Now it even violates the fundamental interests and desires for friendship between China and India and violates all of the world’s people’s will for peace by declaring on XX-XX-XXXX [sic] that it is severing diplomatic relations with China. The Chinese government cannot help but think this is a great regret. But the Chinese government does not believe that the thousand years of friendship between the Chinese people and the Indian people can be broken by the Indian government and the suspension of diplomatic relations between China and India is only temporary.

Under such circumstances, in consideration of the friendship between the brotherly People’s Republic of Poland with China and her extensive relationships and effective activities in the international sphere, the Chinese government earnestly requests the agreement of the People’s Republic of Poland to take care of the houses, assets and archives of the Chinese Embassy and consulates in India and to protect the interests of China and Chinese in India.

The Chinese government would be very grateful if the Polish government agrees to such entrustment and notifies the Indian government of this matter.
