I report.
On 27 October 1962 a U-2 aircraft an altitude of 16000 meters at 1700 Moscow time invaded into the territory of Cuba with the goal of photographing the combat formations of the troops and for a duration of hour and 21 minutes followed the route Yaguajay, Ciego De Avila, Camaguey, Manzanillo, San Luis, Guantanamo, and Preston.
In order not to allow the US to get photographs at 1820 Moscow time this aircraft was shot down by two surface-to-air missiles of the 507th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment at an altitude of 21000 meters. The aircraft fell into the area of Antilla. Searches have been organized.
On this day there were eight violations by US aircrafts of the air space of Cuba.
