On February 10, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Pyongyang organized a screening of the movie dedicated to the memory of Chairman Mao Zedong. [North] Korean state and party officials, heads of the diplomatic missions and cultural attachés had been invited. It was notable that the Ambassadors of the USSR, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland, the GDR and Mongolia did not attend, their participation being replaced by their second-in-command, with the exception of the Soviet Embassy on behalf of which only the cultural attaché attended.

The Romanian Embassy in Pyongyang reports to the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Embassy of the PRC to Pyongyang's screening of a movie dedicated to the memory of Mao Zedong. Several Ambassadors of the USSR, GDR,and Mongolia were invited but did not attend the event.
