Beirut, 5/8/1949 - No. 35

I learned from Noureddin Beik Bayhom that Jewish financial institutions are trying to buy the largest number of real-estate shares due to be sold in Douma-Damascus in agreement with American financiers. The Syrian Government plans to build a new city in Douma along the lines of Heliopolis in Cairo.

Noureddin Beik Bayhom says that this activity on the part of the Jews, even if secret, is supported by a number of major American financiers and their Syrian supporters.

Short document on Jewish businessmen purchasing real estate shares in the Douma-Damascus area.
