Number 158/ The Russian are still interested in following the movements of every German who arrives from Damascus after it’s been proven that Germans working under Colonel Hardin have influence over the Syrian President.
That’s why, yesterday, I saw agents of [page 2] the Russian Commission watching a German engineer by the name Viski Kardich, who arrived two days ago from Damascus and is staying at Hotel Mitahaus. They were trying to seriously make contact with him.
