In Islamic circles, the following activities are taking place:

First: regarding attempts to strengthen the Muslim Brotherhood Association, I learned that wide-ranging propaganda activities are taking place in Muslim circles to encourage the largest number of Muslims to join the Brotherhood in order to strengthen it. Sheikh Ahmad Yousef Hmoud convinced Dr Khalidi to take advantage of the Najaddah’s weakness to shore up this Association. What is certain, though, is that the Muslim Brotherhood is working in favour of King Abdullah.

Second: The second activity aims at bolstering the 'Brotherhood of Mohammad' and ‘Makarem al Akhlaq' (Lofty Morality) Associations to serve Jordanian interests.

Third: The Syrian coup d'état brought back to mind, in Muslim circles, the idea of Syrian unity. Although this idea is a subject of conversation between individuals, efforts are underway to propagate it within wider Islamic circles for reasons I will try to find out.
