Re: For highly confidential guidance reg. North Korean contraband tangle
Police investigation is ongoing which should result in expulsion of North Korea’s ambassador in Stockholm and several employees. However, we postpone all measures until Swedish family members have left Pyongyang, which we think will be on Friday.
It is possible that the ambassador prefers to leave before an expulsion order has been issued. With regards to possible counter measure by North Korea, you should avoid being on the North Korean side during the next couple of days.

The Cabinet provides an update about the police investigation of North Korea's diplomats, stating that the expulsion of the diplomats will wait until the family members of Swedish diplomats in Pyongyang have been evacuated. The Cabinet also warns about potential North Korean counter moves and advises the Swedish delegation at Panmunjom not to enter North Korean territory.
