Conclusions from the Visit in Kuwait (16 to 18 October 1982)
1. The invitation to the Emir as expressed by the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the SED and Chairman of the State Council of the GDR, E. Honecker, is to be implemented at the appropriate time.

2. For the further development of economic relations with Kuwait a plan of measures is to be drafted and to be submitted to the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the SED for approval.

3. The results of the visit in Kuwait are to be used for the establishment of official relations with the Gulf states, for contacts with the Gulf Cooperation Council, and with other organizations where the Gulf states are members. Proposals are to be submitted to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the SED.
