TO COMRADE BREZHNEV L.I.
Sent in regards to operation “Anadyr’” the launchers of the 2P27 “Shmel’” guided anti-tank system are mounted on a GAZ-40PB armored reconnaissance vehicle that is not adapted for actions in tropical conditions.
In accordance to the plan of the first order 20 GAZ-40PB’s those which must be prepared in a tropical variant are to be sent.
In connection with this I ask you to petition the Gor’ky Council of the National Economy to supply plant Nº 614 of the Saratov Council with 20 GAZ-40PB’s in a tropical version by 10 July of this year.
