7 May 1958

I visited KWP CC Deputy Chairman Pak Geum-cheol [Pak Kum Chol] and delivered a CPSU CC letter to him.

Pak Geum-cheol thanked the CPSU CC and said that representatives of the Korean Worker's Party will take part in the conference being convened in Moscow on 20 May. The question of the composition of the delegation will be discussed in the KWP CC Presidium and reported separately.

In the conversation which was held Pak Geum-cheol and Nam Il, who was present, noted the exceptionally great importance of the issues which will be discussed at the conference.

Taking advantage of the occasion of the visit to Pak Geum-cheol, I asked him to speed up the decision of the issue of who will be going to the Soviet Union for vacation and treatment at the invitation of the CPSU CC and Soviet government.

Pak Geum-cheol promised to do this in the near future.
