Today the 8th session of the Supreme People’s Assembly began in the [main hall] of the Moranbong Theatre, with the following agenda:

 

  1. The activity of the governmental delegation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea at the Geneva conference regarding the peaceful resolution of the Korean question.
  2. The law on the organization of state power in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
  3. The creation of new provinces and re-naming of certain cities, counties and villages in North Korea.
  4. The ratification of some decrees issued by the Supreme People’s Assembly Presidium.

 

The first item on the agenda was discussed by Kim Il.
