Today the 8th session of the Supreme People’s Assembly began in the [main hall] of the Moranbong Theatre, with the following agenda:
- The activity of the governmental delegation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea at the Geneva conference regarding the peaceful resolution of the Korean question.
- The law on the organization of state power in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
- The creation of new provinces and re-naming of certain cities, counties and villages in North Korea.
- The ratification of some decrees issued by the Supreme People’s Assembly Presidium.
The first item on the agenda was discussed by Kim Il.
