The Permanent Mission of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and with reference to his note FI 311/1 of 28 January 1967 has the honour to transmit herewith a check for US $ 121.401,--by paying of which the whole of the Czechoslovak contribution to the United Nations 1966 regular budget has been covered.

 

This payment as well as all payments made by the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic to the United Nations 1966 regular budget do not include any contribution for:

 

  1. interest and amortization or any other service connected the so-called United Nations bonds,
  2. the so- called United Nations Commission for unification and Rehabilitation of Korea,
  3. the Memorial Cemetery in Korea,
  4. the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization in Palestine, the so-called Field Service of the United Nations.

 

Being assigned for the United Nations regular budget the amount mentioned above does not cover any expenses connected with the illegal United Nations operations of UNEF and ONUC.

 

The Permanent Mission of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic to the United Nations avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Secretary-General of the United Nations the assurances of its highest consideration.
