Re: Situation of the Investigation of the Automobile of the Soviet Consulate

[To the] Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

The cable dated 9 July was received.

The text of the Yili [Ili] [Office of the Xinjiang Foreign Affairs Department] report on the automobile of the Soviet consulate is relatively long. After our office receives it, [we] will immediately send it to Beijing via confidential airmail. The record of conversation between Comrade Cao Hongzhang and the Soviet consul on 31 May were already submitted by the Yili Office of the Foreign Affairs Department to The Department of Consular Affairs [of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs]
