Chairman of the City Directorate for Construction and Architecture Affairs Kim San-gi gave a report in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for ambassadors on the condition and prospects for the construction of Pyongyang. Kim San-gi briefly dwelled on the history of the capital and listed the main sites which are being built this year and will begin operation for the 15th anniversary of the liberation of Korea and dwelled on the prospects for the development of Pyongyang in the coming years.
The report was interesting and substantive.

I visited Chief of the KWP CC International Department Pak Yong-guk at his request.
Pak Yong-guk said that in connection with Kim Il Sung's upcoming visit to the Soviet Union and meetings with Cde. N. S. Khrushchev during which Kim Il Sung intends to inform Cde. N. S. Khrushchev about the condition and further direction of economic development in the DPRK and the situation in South Korea, materials concerning these issues have been prepared in the KWP CC. The KWP CC leadership has instructed that these materials be given to the Embassy to be sent to Moscow. It is possible that Cde. N. S. Khrushchev will have the opportunity to familiarize himself with them in advance.
Pak Yong-guk also handed over the list of officials who will go to Moscow with Cde. Kim Il Sung:
Kim Chang-man - Presidium member and Deputy Chairman of the KWP CC; Rim Gi-cheol [sic], Chairman of the State Planning Committee; Pak Yong-guk, CC member and Chief of the KWP CC International Department. Accompanying [personnel]: Kim Chee-sung [sic], Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade; Cha Hui-jeon [sic], assistant to the Chairman; Jeong Jun-gi [sic], Deputy Chief of the KWP CC Agitprop Department; Ri Geun-il [sic], Secretary of the Chairman; Ri Ho-rim [sic], doctor. Interpreters: Choe Won-sik, DPRK MFA official; Ri Seung-hyeok [sic], DPRK MFA official; and Ok In-seop [sic], DPRK MFA official.
