I visited Deputy KWP CC Chairman Kim Chang-man and in connection with the comments of some fraternal Parties I pass a request to make a clarification in paragraph six of the second section of the text of the Statement.

Kim Chang-man said that the addition is correct and it will be inserted into the text of the Statement of the Conference of Communist parties which is being prepared for publication in the Korean press on 6 December.

In turn Kim Chang-man asked me to pass to Moscow that "the KWP CC leadership and DPRK Party-government delegation are very grateful to the CPSU CC for the great attention which the CPSU CC paid our delegation both during its arrival in Moscow and on return to the Motherland".

I said that the request would be carried out.

Pak Yong-guk, Chief of the KWP CC International Department, was present at the meeting. The conversation was interpreted by Embassy Third Secretary D. A. Priyemsky and chief of a KWP CC International Department sector Choe Won-sik.
