Number 103/ Wadi’ Khayyat, a Catholic Armenian man, born in Mosul but spent a period of his life in Yugoslavia, as he is married to a Jewish Yugoslavian woman, had arrived in Beirut via Hungaria in July of last year [page 2] had taken residence at Hotel Babri.
I had found out from the Yugoslavian political refugees in Beirut that they are suspicious of this man and his wife and that they are secret agents for the Cominform. They are also suspicious of contacts they are making for the Jews. I will try my best to watch them and report back with my findings.
After arriving in Beirut, Wadi' Khayyat is suspected to be a secret agent for the Cominform.
