The Embassy of Pakistan present their compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China and have the honour to state that according to the information received by the Embassy Syed Ahmah Shah, a Pakistan national in Yarkand (Sha Che) has been arrested by local authorities.

 

2. The Embassy of Pakistan would be grateful if an immediate enquiry is made regarding the reasons leading to this action by the local authorities and necessary information communicated to the Embassy. An early reply will be greatly appreciated.

 

3. The Embassy of Pakistan avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China the assurances of their highest consideration.

The Embassy of Pakistan writes to the Chinese Foreign Ministry regarding the welfare of Pakistani nationals in Xinjiang.
