Letter from the Embassy of Pakistan to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (No. 2095-F-129/55)

The Embasy of Pakistan present their compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and have the honour to state that Noor Bibi daughter of the late Mr. Abdul Ghani of Yarkand had informed the Embassy as under:-

 

When Noor Bibi’s father Abdul Ghani left for Gilgit in 1953 along with her mother, he left 5 Mow of land and a house belonging to him in the custody of her uncle Mr. Habibullah son of Najmuddin. In 1953 the said land and house was taken over by the Government on the plea that the owner had left for Pakistan. Since she is alive, and happens to be legal heir to her father’s property, the property in question should be restored to her: Her present address is as follows:-

 

Noor Bibi daughter of Abdul Ghani,

Raayon City, Nijji Gai No. 6,

House No. 8,

Yarkand. Shoche.

Sinkiang.

 

2. The Embassy would be grateful for a favourable consideration of Noor Bibi’s request.

 

3. The Embassy of Pakistan avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China the assurances of their highest consideration.

The Embassy of Pakistan writes to the Chinese Foreign Ministry regarding the welfare of Pakistani nationals in Xinjiang.
