Letter from the Embassy of Pakistan to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (No. 2802-F-113/55)

The Embassy of Pakistan present their compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and has the honour to state that Mr. Habibullah s/o Najmuddin, a Pakistan National, residing in village Rayun, Street No.4, Gate No. 15, Yarkand (Shoche) has informed this Embassy that the local Government of Sinkiang have asked him and his family consisting of 8 members to leave China on the 1st of September, 1955.

 

2. The Embassy would be grateful if the matter is looked into expeditiously and this family is not uprooted at such a short notice as they cannot finalise arrangements for their journey in such a short time. It is accordingly requested that Mr. Habibullah and his family members may be allowed to remain in China until such time as certain matters relating to their citizenship applications are decided by the Embassy.

 

3. The Embassy of Pakistan avail themselves of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the assurances of their highest consideration.

The Embassy of Pakistan writes to the Chinese Foreign Ministry regarding the welfare of Pakistani nationals in Xinjiang.
