Bs Aires 31 January 1969

Considering it to be relevant to your meeting next Monday with Dr. BITTENCOURT, I inform Mr. President that:

According to the communicated by Dr. BERAZATEGUI by phone today, the Foreign Ministry will have some objections to the issue of facilitating uranium to Brazil.

This position is due to diplomatic difficulties with that country.

José Luis Alegria

Head of Planning Department

The document highlights that the export of Argentine uranium to Brazil will be a difficult operation due to diplomatic hurdles.
