CPSU CENTRAL COMMITTEE RESOLUTION

 

On the conception of military cooperation with foreign countries (except for Socialist countries)

 

RESOLVED:

 

1.To agree with the conception laid out in a memo from Comrades L.N. Zaikov, V.M. Chebrikov, E.A. Shevardnadze, A.N. Iakovlev, D.T. Iazov, O.D. Baklanov, I.S. Belousov, V.M. Kamentsev, and V.A. Kriuchkov, from June 23, 1989 (attached).

 

To approve the conception of military cooperation with foreign countries (attached). To oversee these conceptions in their practical implementation with the appropriate agencies.

 

2.To prepare and send information and necessary argumentation on the conception of military cooperation to the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs, the USSR Ministry of Defense, and the USSR Ministry of Foreign Economic Connections for Soviet Ambassadors and representatives and related agencies in consideration of the specifications of their countries and regions.

The CPSU Central Committee approves a proposal on military cooperation with non-socialist countries.
