December 4, 1978	Hungarian Secretariat Report on Fight against 'Imperialist Propaganda' Report on the implementation of the Politburo resolution of May 22, 1973, concerning the need to strengthen the fight against "imperialist propaganda" (especially its emphasis on human rights) and proposals for future tasks (including concern with projected Western satellite television broadcasts).
May 22, 1973	Hungarian Central Committee Report on Fight against 'Hostile Propaganda' This Central Committee report to the Hungarian Politburo reviews efforts of Party and government organs to analyze Western broadcasting and other information programs targeted on Hungary. The report indicates the extent of the resources devoted to analyzing "hostile" information programs, criticizes as inadequate the efforts to counter "hostile propaganda" claiming to "improve socialism," and urges better coordination of counterpropaganda. The resolution of the Politburo accepting the report follows. This resolution, adopted on May 22, 1973, was declared invalid ten years later by a resolution made on October 11, 1983.
June 25, 1980	Extract from Protocol No. 206 of the Session of the Politburo of the CC CPSU, 'Concerning Measures with Regard to the Organization Amnesty International' Extract on Amnesty International and the KGB's attempts to undermine its anti-Soviet activity. The report states that Amnesty International is funded by imperialist powers, who have the intent of placing pressure on the Soviet Union to change its human rights policies.
December 29, 1975	Committee for State Security Report on Anti-Soviet Propaganda and Anti-Socialist Elements The Committee for State Security reported on statements from the French and Italian Communist party leaders being used in anti-Soviet propaganda and broadcasted on western radio stations. The use of these statements caused a debate over socialist ideology, human rights, and freedoms. The report looks at prior anti-socialist activity and results of actions in places such as Hungary and Poland. The role of the KGB and decrease in crime rate is also discussed.
1976	Korea: Uneasy Truce in the Land of the Morning Calm (New York: American-Korean Friendship and Information Center, 1976) The AFKIC introduces its mission, the history of Korea, and the current situation on the Peninsula.
November 21, 1957	Letter No. 99 from the President (Syngman Rhee) to Minister Duk Shin Choi President Rhee briefly responds to Choi's previous reported opinions on Korean unification and the threat of Red China and Japan.
August 8, 1949	Untitled report on a meeting of Communist parties A meeting of Communist Parties endorses future activities and plans to counter Turkish, Syrian, and other regional anti-communist plans.
January 15, 1950	Record of the Conversation between I.V. Stalin and Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Stalin and Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan discuss India's policy of neutrality regarding cold war issues, India's relationship with Pakistan, and potential agrarian reforms within India.
January 21, 1954	Letter, General James A. Van Fleet to President Rhee General Van Fleet first addresses the two sides of the Asian question. Should the US 1) try to “win back Asia” or 2) face the "reality" of the present conditions and should not recommence fighting in Korea? He advises Rhee to concentrate on expanding the ROK army and to leave reunification matters to the US and the United Nations.
March 4, 1954	Letter, President Syngman Rhee to General Van Fleet President Rhee once again suggests that the US government should increase the ROK defense forces. It will not only be cheaper to fund Korean (over American) divisions, it also means that Americans do not need to fight in Korea. Rhee then negotiates that if the US government implements the necessary military buildup aid, he too will not take any “unilateral action” for or against the future Geneva Conference until after it has been in session. Finally, Rhee advocates his disapproval of US interest to build up Japan.
