PRAVDA of 26 July 1946, Nº 176

MOSCOW, THE KREMLIN

to His Excellency Generalissimo STALIN

When leaving the last point of the majestic Soviet Union and sincerely wishing all the best to Your Excellency I express heartfelt gratitude for the boundless concern and attention shown me during my stay on Soviet territory. Everywhere I observed the courage and selflessness of the Soviet people during the 27 days of my stay in several cities of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics visiting various institutions. The spontaneity of your attention was clearly felt in the charitable establishments in which I visited .

Again expressing my sincere sentiments to Your Excellency and all the glorious Soviet people please accept my cordial gratitude.

ASHRAF PAHLAVI

Princess Ashraf Pahlavi thanks Stalin for the warm reception she received in the Soviet Union.
