Communications between Xinjiang and Moscow is very necessary at first since Xinjiang will set up communications with Beijing with the aid of this. The call is being set for the early morning of 14 August.

During each transmission Moscow gives the callsigns first for three minutes.

“We report a new radio communications program with Headquarters [Tsentr]. Working days are daily. The time of work is from 1400 to 2000 Greenwich time. At the 1400 schedule your frequencies are: the fundamental one is 14650 kHz and the alternate is 12500 Hz.

Headquarters’ frequencies: the fundamental one is 13640 Hz and the alternate is 10700 Hz.

At the 2200 schedule the frequencies of your radio station are: the fundamental one is 8550 Hz and the alternate is 7700 Hz.

Headquarters’ frequencies are: the fundamental one is 7900 Hz and the alternate is 6820 Hz.

If communications are not established on the fundamental frequencies within 15 minutes, work and listen for the succeeding 45 minutes on the alternate frequencies.

The callsigns of your radio station according to the days of the week, counting Monday as the first day: XMA, JSB, TRS, FPL, GRU, WNP, and XFM, and the callsigns of Headquarters are accordingly: DOX, FKP, PSM, HBC, VZS, YDU, and IZJ. When switching to new frequencies use coefficients with QRX designations. During transmission the coefficient is added to the real value of the frequency or time (excluding minutes); during reception the coefficient is subtracted to get the real value. The coefficients are for the frequencies 1700, 3500, 2100, 2500, 5100, 4600, and 3800 according to the days of the week, and for the time and days are: 7, 5, 3, 6, 8, 9, and 4.
