The Korean War was a complex and multifaceted event that played a determining role in the evolution of the Cold War in Asia.
The US-South Korean relationship was one of America’s most important Cold War partnerships.
Though the character of US-Korean relations has evolved over its one-hundred thirty year history, the US-ROK Military alliance has served as the foundation to the relationship since its existence.
