Dear Comrade
M. D. Bagirov!
As I found out in Moscow, in 1949 or 1950 M. I. Ivanova defended her classified dissertation about the Iranian Communist Party.
Mention is made in this dissertation of Dzhavad Zade [Pishevari]; in the documents referenced he is exhibited together with enemies of the people.
Perhaps the author of the dissertation and [her] opponents did not know about Pishevari. In such a case this would be at minimum a carelessness which has annoying consequences.
I attach for your information an excerpt from an appropriate place (page 133).
At the same time I want to bring to your attention that in this (generally interesting) dissertation there are interesting places about Geydar Khan Amu Ogly, multiplying his positive qualities on the basis of a number of facts such as, for example, his speech back then against Trotsky and his supporters and a telegram to V. I. Lenin that seems very interesting to me from the point of view of a great confirmation of the physiognomy of the Azerbaijani revolutionary.
with Communist greetings Kambakhsh
