1965	Lê Thanh Nghị, 'Report on Meetings with Party Leaders of Eight Socialist Countries' North Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Politburo member Le Thanh Nghi recounts his discussions with socialist leaders in the summer of 1965, just as the war in the south was heating up.
November 18, 1969	From the Journal of N.G. Sudarikov, Soviet Ambassador to the DPRK, 'Record of a Conversation with General Secretary of the CC and Chairman of the DPRK Cabinet of Ministers, Kim Il Sung' Sudarikov briefs Kim Il Sung about the meeting of the two leaders from the Soviet Union and the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, which led to closer relations between the countries.

Sudarikov, 'Record Of A Conversation with Kim Il Sung, General Secretary of the KWP CC and Chairman of the DPRK Cabinet of Ministers, 19 June 1972' Kim Il Sung expresses satisfaction toward Brezhnev’s positions regarding Korea and Vietnam which were made during talks with U.S. President Nixon. Kim also criticizes Park Chung Hee for suppressing the opposition in South Korea, including the imprisonment of Kim Dae-jung.
