In May 1998, the Wilson Center's Cold War International History Project published a groundbreaking collection of documents on the rise and fall of the Sino-Vietnamese alliance during the Cold War in a Working Paper titled "77 Conversations Between Chinese and Foreign Leaders on the Wars in Indochina, 1964-77." This collection consists of documents originally featured in "77 Conversations," as well as alternative and related versions of those documents that have become available since since 1998 at various archives and repositories around the globe.
