to the PRIME MINISTER OF IRAN

 

QAVAM OS-SALTANEH

 

I thank you, Your Excellency, for the friendly sentiments expressed in your telegram in connection with the successful conclusion of the Soviet-Iranian talks in which you personally took such an active part. I am confident that the agreement between the USSR and Iran reached as a result of these talks will serve to further develop and strengthen the cooperation and friendship between the peoples of our countries.
